Pétanque Court Update

We have noticed that there have been some comments expressed by members of the community regarding the Pétanque at the Wildside Centre. As a result I think it is important to clarify that the usage of the Pétanque is open to the entire community and has, for some time, been bookable through the standard Booking the Hall pages on the website.

Currently, the cost to hire the Pétanque court is £20 per hour but after listening to feedback from the community and to encourage usage, we have agreed to waive the charge for local community groups and individuals.

We do have a boules set, related equipment and instructions for hire for those groups or individuals that don’t possess their own. There is a £15 per session charge for hire of the equipment.

The Pétanque court is at the back of the centre and is an ideal location to enjoy some sporting fun and watch the sun go down.
