THREE THINGS FOR A THURSDAY
MEETING v FOOTBALL
Thank goodness for extra time! The Trust Board Meeting met last night and continued until the last ten minutes of full time in the England v Denmark game. It covered everything from the Community Action Plan, Grants, Housing, Budgets, Communications, Mini Gala’s, Wildside Developments, Ongoing Projects, Asset Ownership and equipment purchases. At the end we felt we had gone a full ninety minutes, half time team talk, extra time and a penalty shoot-out! And I thought it might be quieter during the summer months.
As you may know I am taking a wee break so Three Things For A Thursday this week and maybe we will arrange a substitute for next week, bringing you all the latest updates for the Mini Gala on the 24th of July!
RIVERSIDE FIELD
All the statutory consultees have now made their recommendations to planning for consideration when developing Riverside Field. You can follow this application here 21/02331/FUL | Community amenity development (masterplan), MUGA, sports/play areas, car park, community hall, gym | Land 100M NW Of Linden Grays Park Foyers (highland.gov.uk)
FINANCE OFFICER
The number of applicants for the role of Finance Officer was not what we would like so we are looking at another option or will re advertise soon. Please keep checking the website for more details at Home | Stratherrick & Foyers Community Trust (stratherrickcommunity.org.uk) and have a read of articles there if you are interested in acting, want to know more about Community Groups in the area, how we can help promote your events and the results of our recent survey on Riverside Field.
Enjoy your summer and I we will chat with you again in a couple of week’s time!
