I am pleased to announce that the result of the community consultation, on the Inverfarigaig Forest School and associated land, is that the majority of those responding to our requests for feedback want the Trust to purchase the property. The final report is attached to this announcement for your information.

There are still a few steps required before the Trust can complete the purchase but we are hopeful that the legal due diligence and SSE approval will be signed off before the end of May 2025.

Once the purchase is complete we will start the work to make the property usable again, re-open the toilets to the public and explore potential uses of the property with interested parties to understand their requirements and how these can be met.
