STRATHERRICK AND FOYERS VOLUNTEERING FOR A FRIDAY
It’s Volunteers Week and a celebration of volunteering which goes on up and down the country, including here at Stratherrick and Foyers. There is a whole army of volunteers in the area who put their energies into working positively for their community. These people put their heart and soul into what they do and should be celebrated not just over a week but all year round. If you are not actively involved these people are making a difference to your community while juggling work, family and stresses of everyday life (which have been pretty stressful these last few years) and tend to do that in the background without the need of a ‘thanks’. But thanks anyway!
I was looking through the latest Statherrick and Foyers Magazine – lets give a shout out to volunteers who are mentioned in the pages… (and sorry to those who I miss out!)
