Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the Community Fireworks display at Loch Ness Shores on Saturday night.  This event would not be possible without the support of Neil Kirkland who kept us all safe and put on a fantastic spectacle over the banks of the Loch, which makes for quite the setting.

The Inverness event normally has pre-recorded music in the background, but we had local musicians playing live. Thanks must go to Alex Sutherland and Michael White for entertaining the crowd on the night.

A huge thank you to Loch Ness Shores for allowing the event to take place and especially to Alex and her team for the fabulous hot food which was well received by the crowd.

Fireworks Night is a good opportunity for local people to make a charitable donation in the buckets at the event. The charity collection from the event this year is being totalled up and shortly we will announce how much was raised. All the money collected in the buckets goes to the three charities. Munlochy Animal Aid, MFR Cash For Kids and Mikeysline will each receive a donation thanks to the generosity of those attended the community fireworks event.

Thanks also to Fiona and Andrea for selling the raffle tickets and to Catriona from SFCT for doing the draw. The raffle raised the fantastic amount of £213, which is being donated to the charity Spokes4folks.

Finally, thanks to everyone who gave their time or money to make the fireworks a success this year.
