Wildside Baby and Toddler Group have had a fantastic year and with a few new families moving into the area so we are growing in numbers which is great! A big thank you to SFCT for our grant money as this has helped with social gatherings in particular this year.
At the start of the year we held an Easter egg hunt for the babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers, they loved
this and had so much fun!
We then booked an external professional for a MessyNess session which we did on a Saturday so that all families with pre-school children could attend. We had a great turn out with a lovely BBQ and lots of activities.
We took part in the summer Bring & Buy sales which has helped us provide snacks weekly for the kids so thank you for everyone’s contributions!
Our biggest event this year has got to be our amazing Halloween party. We booked Trapeze Entertainment which was fantastic for the kids! There was laughter, magic and balloon shapes galore! We decorated the Wildside Centre and everyone dressed up. We had food, drinks and homemade Halloween baking and party bags to take home. 24 children came and it was so lovely to have a big get together for the children and the parents and welcome our new families into the strath. Thanks again to SFCT for the financial support as well as the free use of The Wildside Centre as this has enabled us to pay for an entertainer and only ask for a small contribution from families. We are already making plans for 2024!
Thanks
Jenny Tompkins
