BOARD MEETING

At the Board Meeting on Wednesday we had the usual business - minutes, finance and gave out some grants.  We also  discussed grants for all life stages, supporting groups in their planning for applications, first aid, sustainable communities, playparks and Foyers Bay.

SAY GOODBYE

This week we say goodbye to Pilates from the Wildside on a Wednesday – because they have grown too big!  They are off to the Stratherrick Hall.  We couldn’t be happier that a group has become so popular during their time at Wildside. 

Although we charge for birthday parties and events we do offer the Wildside Centre for free or subsidised to groups who use it.  This stops any unnecessary paperwork ( you fill in a grant form to give to Trust who give you a grant for you to pay us back ).   This provides a service to the community, particularly around well being, and can help give time for groups to establish themselves.  Over a year this can amount to support of £1000 for a one hour session every week.  So if you have an idea, let us know!
