MSP VISIT
All being well MSP Kate Forbes will be making a visit to the Wildside this week to hear about the work of the Trust, the Community Action Plan and projects community members have been working on. More about the visit in our news section next week!
MAGAZINE
I heard at the Community Council that the Trust Magazine is starting to land on doorsteps. Hopefully it will be good bedtime reading! The Communications Team would also like me to share the ever-increasing Business Directory on the website. Got a local business – make sure you are on it. SAVE THE DATE
All being well the Community Action Plan will be launched at an event on 19th November. If you attended the Community Action Groups you will get an invite from Nick Wright. As the finishing touches are made to the CAP the date remains provisional but keep a note and invites will be sent out soon. Very exciting!
AGM
Many of you should have had an invite to the Trust AGM on 24th November which will be a mix of in person or remotely. I hope you can attend. If you are thinking of becoming a Trust Board member please do get in touch. Speak to a current Board Member for advice. For some life has taken over so they are standing down this year but you can find out the current Board Members here About the Trust | Stratherrick & Foyers Community Trust (stratherrickcommunity.org.uk)
FIREWORKS
You’ve probably gathered by now there is no Fireworks event this year. Apologies for that but at the time of planning safety and Covid restrictions were still a consideration. We are, of course, having the Winter Wonderland so there will be an opportunity to get together again for that.
If you are enjoying Halloween this weekend have a horrific time and remember the clocks ‘fall’ back on Saturday night / Sunday morning
