Work begins at Errogie Church!

We are pleased to let you know that work began on phase 1 of the Errogie Church project yesterday. The contractors, Capstone Construction are now onsite to carry out work to ensure that the building is wind and watertight. The majority of this work is focussed on restoring the building to a sound condition.

This phase is extremely time-critical as we are working within the constraints of our Bat Licence, which stipulates that any work that may affect the bat roosts must be carried out before the bats return from hibernation. This covers roof works, guttering and removal and repairwork to internal walls. At these early stages the majority of the work will be preparation, but please be aware of increased vehicular activity in the area, including skip lorries, and the contractors are likely to be onsite until May.
