SFCT call for proposals and a fixed price tender for 72 square metres of removable interlocking wooden marquee flooring to be constructed and delivered to the Trust by 20 May 2022. Details here
Background
Stratherrick and Foyers Community Trust wishes to purchase 72 square meters of removable interlocking wooden marquee flooring – to fit a marquee approx 12m * 6m. Ideally these will be constructed locally making a surface suitable for parties and dancing. The key words for this specification are as follows
Wooden (can be deal, ply or board material as proposed by the tender response)
Interlocking (panels should be made to a single standard design to allow assembly on tehground without a sub floor)
Moveable (panels should not require screwing together)
Stackable (panels should not be too large or heavy to be moved and stacked manually)
Robust (panels should be likely to endure more than 5 years in normal use and humid storage conditions)
Screwed and safe (panels should not be hazardous – with no pertruding screws, nails or skelfs)
Design
The exact design and materials used should be fit for purpose and chosen by the contractor. Examples of the panels similar to those required are shown on the accompanying sheet. Firms tendering for this job should enclose their own design and specification including measurements and thickness, materials and fixings which they would use.

The materials that will be used including timber specifications measurements and fixings.
A design of the panels which may be hand-drawn.
Price for the whole job – supply and deliver 72 sq.m of panels by 20 May 2022
A cost to produce 72 square meters of panels without VAT
The VAT status of the tenderer (Registered / Unregistered)
Tenders should be submitted by 27 April 2022 to admin@sfctrust.org.uk
The tender will be awarded based on the submission, panels proposed, price and ability to deliver on time.
