The 2023 River Ness 10k title for male runners over 70 years of age went to Errogie’s Alex Sutherland.

Alex stormed home in the M70+ class in just 44 minutes and 3 seconds. He was two and a half minutes ahead of his nearest challenger Stewart Donald. The third place went to Allen White, who took nearly an hour to complete the Inverness course.

Malcolm Sutherland, Event Director, Caledonian Concepts, who organise the event said “Alex is a legend in running circles. We knew with over 1500 runners in the 10k race, Alex would give the younger ones a run for their money!”
