BOOKKEEPER

Congratulations to Susan Low who is our new Bookkeeper and will be doing a handover with outgoing Finance Officer Marie next week.  It’s great to have you on the team.  We hope to recruit a Finance Officer very soon and I’ve been dealing with that this week.

JOBS DEADLINE MONDAY

The Marketing and PR Role and Community Action Plan Project Officer roles are being advertised and applications need to be in on Monday.  These roles are funded by the Scottish Government and Strengthening Communities. Jobs | Stratherrick & Foyers Community Trust (stratherrickcommunity.org.uk)

COMMUNICATIONS

Jillian Barclay has started as our new Marketing and PR Officer and will job share with the other person who applies.  Jillian is currently working on the Highland Gathering newsletter which will be delivered to your door before the event.

TOILETS

Hello to new staff member Peter Leyden who is looking after the toilets at Foyers for us.  The official opening of the toilets is happening today.  After The thunder, lightning and rain the weather has improved for it.

CONTRACTS

Contracts for work at Riverside Field, the Slipway, Errogie, Wildside, Inverfarigaig and the toilets are all advertised locally, giving local contractors the opportunity to work in the local community.  Keep checking the website for details.
