For many Stratherrick and Foyers residents the Inverness ASDA store on the Distributor Road is a regular stop. It is also on the Whitebridge bus route, so is more convenient for those travelling without a car. ASDA offers of free and cheap food in their café. With school holidays soon such as Half-term, we thought we’d check up on the latest details to see what was available. David at the Inverness ASDA Café confirmed the routine there.
Morning Porridge
All ASDA customers can get a Free Breakfast bowl of Quaker Porridge and a hot drink, (Tea, coffee or hot chocolate). This offer runs every morning from 7th February to 20th March 8am to 12noon.
£1 Winter Warmers
All customers over 60 can get this deal. It runs to the end of February offering soup and a roll and a hot drink.
Kids Eat for £1
ASDA has had this deal running for some time. The £1 deal is for those under 16 and there’s no minimum spend required by accompanying adults. Before 12 noon, children can get a pancake meal, but after 12noon the hot food menu is available for £1, right up to 4.30pm. The offer runs every day and is very popular in the afternoons.
For details of other Kids’ Meals Offers from other supermarkets or restaurants, check out websites such as NetMums or MumsNet.
Morrisons, Dunelm, Tesco and Brewers Fayre are other places to with Kids’ Meal offers in town, some of which just run for the mid term break.
