I’M LATE FOR A VERY IMPORTANT DATE

Thanks to everyone who put their name forward as a Director of the Trust. The AGM will be on 24^th November at 7.30pm and an invite has gone out to members.

MORE DATES

On 19^th November Nick Wright will be launching the Community Action Plan. We are arranging copies of the 92-page document to go direct to as many households that we have addresses for after that date It will also be available online. Another big thank you to everyone who participated in helping Nick and his team produce your plan, from surveys, online action groups, ideas banks, feedback on drafts and more!

THREE DAYS TO GO - TAKE THE PULSE

You only have three days left to take the ‘Pulse’ survey. This survey, put together by Scottish Community Development Centre, will help us take the temperature of Stratherrick and Foyers community prior to the launch of the Community Action Plan. Each year we can then run the survey to see what impact the work of the community is having. Thanks to everyone who have already taken the survey and if you haven’t it takes about four minutes to do at this link Taking the Pulse Community Survey (surveymonkey.co.uk)

OTHER DATES – GORTHLECK VILLAGE IMPROVEMENT SCHEME

Gorthleck Village Improvement Scheme - Community Consultation Meetings - Tuesday 16th November - 4:30pm to 6pm & 7pm to 8:30pm

Please find below links to the Highland Council Community Consultation Meetings arranged for the Gorthleck Village Improvement Scheme proposals. This is in place of the September meeting cancelled due to Covid.

The meetings use the MS Teams software platform and can be accessed via the links below, using a computer or smartphone. Clicking the link enables you to download the app if you don’t already have this.

Residents and the wider community are invited to attend the meetings to hear a short presentation and engage in a Question and Answer session with Council officials. The Scheme proposals will be shown to aid discussion and we would encourage as many people to attend as possible.

Two meeting times are available giving residents the option of attending at a time most suitable to them.

The Council look forward to engaging further with the Community on this important project.
