Riverside Field update

Earlier this month, we received notification that the planning permission for the Riverside Field Masterplan is due to lapse on Friday 13th June.

As a result of this, the Trust’s Chair, CEO and Project Coordinator met with Mike Lawson, our retained Architect, who proposed two options; either we re-submit the current plan for approval, or we allow this application to lapse.

We are acutely aware of the strength of feeling in the community surrounding this project, and with this in mind have taken the decision to allow the current application to lapse.

Our intention is to revisit the project in due course and investigate other options, based on feedback we have received from the community, that we can take forward that will be of benefit to the whole community. These options will be discussed with everyone prior to any further steps being taken.
