Saturday’s Bring and Buy Sale was much better attended than the first one in June which was great to see! Thank you again to all the traders and to those of you that popped along and picked up a bargain. It was a lovely day until a couple of rain showers hampered things. We have a nice little supply of things to be dropped off to the charity shops and we hope some of you had a good clear out!
A thank you to everyone who donated items to the Baby & Toddler Group stand! They are raising some additional funds for upcoming family events and food and snacks for the toddlers over the summer holidays, so it is very much appreciated. If anyone would like to donate any old items to the Wildside Toddler Group, please get in touch with Kirsty Balfour or Jenny Tompkins.
A thank you to Gregor & Lesley Mackintosh for the kind donation of a plant for the Wildside Centre, I am sure you will all recognise it when you see it! It anyone has a nice pot that is surplus to requirements it would be lovely to have it planted up in the reception. Please email communications@sfctrust.org.uk if you think you have something suitable.
The next Bring and Buy Sale will be on the 12th August! Please email Tony (tony-ceo@sfctrust.org.uk) or Jillian (communications@sfctrust.org.uk) to book your FREE spot at the Bring & Buy! We hope (weather permitting) to have a fun play area set up on the lawn for the children to keep them entertained.
So far there are 4 confirmed sellers. Plants, fruit, crafts, children’s toys and clothing, bric a brac and I am sure lots more. We will keep you updated as bookings come in and thank you all again for supporting this new, local event!
